Our Eggs

Hoads Farm has always been at the fore front of the free range poultry industry having been the first to vaccinate all its chickens against Salmonella and the first to print a traceable name and date on the eggs.

Today, our commitment to quality means that in addition to our own high standards we are fully accredited to the BEIC Lion Quality farm assurance and food labelling scheme and RSPCA Freedom Foods Welfare standards. In addition, we are randomly audited by Integra, an independent inspection body working within the food industry. This means that when you buy our Hoads Farm free range eggs you can be guaranteed that not only have they been produced to the very highest standards, but also the welfare and environmental conditions are far higher than is required by law.

All our eggs are labelled with a Best Before date, Production Method (1=Free Range, 0=Organic), Country of Origin and Producer code. Used in conjunction with our documented Quality Control procedures we can trace every egg back to the flock and date it was laid.
